Poetry competition “ Golden Bee” for Polish-speaking poets

Each author submits a collection project in Polish, not yet published in volume. The theme and/or language will be directly or indirectly related to the nature. The Grand Prize, awarded annually since 2018, includes the publication of the poetry collection and an award of a sum of money, a scholarship or an object of art.

The Grand Prize also includes (1) a one-week stay at “czAR(T) Krzywogońca”, during which the author works on editing his collection and preparing it for printing, with the help of a tutor during workshop activities; (2) the publication of his collection; (3) participation in literary promotional evenings.     Stay with full board at “czAR(T) Krzywogońca”, in a single room with bathroom and free Internet access. Workshop activities: daily project work, minimum two hours. The tutors will be well-known writers, poets and critics. The Foundation will cover all accommodation and workshop costs.    The poetic collection will be published in 200 copies (including 150 intended for the author himself).    The circuit of the literary evenings will be defined individually.

The proclamation of the results will be done in two stages, first the publication of a list of 10 finalists, then the name of the chosen candidate.

“Water and Fire” competition for poets of the world

The one poem competition “Water and Fire” refers to the tradition of the summer night – Midsummer. One can register for competitions up to the last minute, just show up at the amphitheater on the evening of our Midsummer Evening by the lake in Krzywogoniec. The Grand Prix has been awarded annually since 2020 and is accompanied by an award of a sum of money, a scholarship or even an art object. Prizes are categorized as “national” or “international”.
