A translation workshop will be held in February (from 4th to 10th ) 2019 in the premises of the Foundation – the village of Krzywogoniec.
Who can apply?
Poets from all over the world who have published at least one book and/or have experience in translating poetry.
What does the stay include?
A week’s stay with full board in czAR(T) Krzywogońca (single ensuite room with free internet access and shared kitchen);
A grant of 500 PLN;
Help from the foundation with the preparation and organisation of the stay.
What happens at the workshops?
The workshops are based around mutual exchange of translations of each other’s work. A maximum of 3 poets take part in each workshop.
What does the award-winner pay for?
Travel costs.
The best way to get to Krzywogoniec is to fly to one of the following airports:
- Bydgoszcz (daily from Frankfurt by Lufthansa, or form Londyn Stansted by Raynair)
- Warsaw ( then take a train from Warszawa Centralna to Bygoszcz Główna)
We will pick up the poet from the Bydgoszcz airport or train station.

- list of publications and/or translations- – one page, max (Word file)

The results of the selection will be announced by individual mail to the applicant.
