On Saturday, June 20, 2026, we invite you to the village of Krzywogoniec in the Tuchola Forest for the “Forest Bee Poetry Festival with Midsummer Poetry.” The event will take place in two locations: at 16:00 at the Krzywogoniec Art Gallery 53, and at 20:00 at the Lake Amphitheater in Krzywogoniec. These locations are a 15-minute walk apart. Free admission for all evnet.
The “Forest Bee Poetry Festival with Midsummer Poetry,” held since 2018, is an event combining literature and regional traditions. Its main goal is to integrate rural and urban communities, to spark interest in the artistic and academic worlds in rural communities, and to restore respect for tradition, ancient customs, and nature among city residents.
During the event, we will announce the results of three contests:
the poetry collection contest – “ Golden Bee“; The main prize is the publication of a poetry collection, preceded by workshops and editing work under the supervision of a tutor, and three promotion events;
a contest for one poem themed around Midsummer’s Eve – “Water and Fire“; we are planning cash prizes;
a contest for the public presentation of a handmade wreath – ” Prettiest Wreath“; we are planning cash prizes.
